The Bulova × Christian Dior collaboration is one of the more fascinating and stylish examples of Swiss-American partnerships in mid-20th-century watchmaking.

The House of Christian Dior designed 50 beautiful variations for Bulova that had various finishes i.e. brushed, gold plated, solid gold and solid silver; whilst Bulova provided the 17J mechanical movement.

This beautiful and uniquely TV red dial timepiece was given a basic servicing because it is still in tiptop shape.

The case width and height are approximately 23mm (without crown) and 28.4mm respectively. The lug width is 10mm and the bracelet and strap can accommodate wrists up to 18cm.

Due to its age, this timepiece has not been water-resistant tested.

To the best of our knowledge and expertise when overhauling the timepiece, the watch is 100% original Bulova components from this particular watch. No parts were replaced with aftermarket parts or modified thereby it is considered in mint condition; and the watch is housed in its original Christian Dior flip top design type box.

The pictures provided shows the watch in pristine condition (no dents and major scratches).

Seldom can one find a vintage watch that offers this and more. Yes, there are many other same / similar models in the market, BUT none are as well-kept and maintained as what you see here, with the original box and with an attractive price to boot. So, it is a no-brainer that this one-of-a-kind watch will make an extremely beautiful birthday present for that special someone born in 1973! A basic Bulova Christian Dior with leather strap is valued between S$ 322.00 to 395.00 on various auction / online sites from really horrible, to un-serviced, to "as is," models. A near mint conditioned model is valued at S$ 1,004.00. This particular TV shaped case with Red dial is valued at S$ 1,090.00. Note: These prices do not include the original box, and the mentioned prices do not include currency conversions fluctuations, commissions, taxes and freight costs etc.

This near mint condition timepiece is being sold at S$ 688.00 which is extremely reasonable. So, NO LOW-BALLERS, please!
