The story behind this watch is rooted in the creator's daily commute in Singapore. Inspired by the practical challenge of tracking fare transfer windows-where missing a bus or train connection results in being charged for a new trip-the watch was conceived as a wearable fare transfer tracker. With a deep appreciation for watches that feature maps, the concept evolved into placing the Singapore MRT system map directly on the dial. Surrounding it, coloured rings represent the various metro routes, turning a familiar urban landscape into a functional and artistic centerpiece.
