Dry it Gently: Pat the strap with a soft, absorbent cloth to remove excess moisture. Avoid rubbing, as this can damage the leather.
Air Dry: Let the strap air dry at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat sources, which can cause the leather to crack.
Condition the Leather: Once dry, apply a leather conditioner to restore moisture and flexibility.
For me I will usually just place the strap in a well ventilated area at room temperature. But I will not put directly under sunlight or heat sources, as they can cause the leather to crack.
